CJ Harrassment ?

Thought you would all enjoy this story...Im usually not a paranoid person but the way Ive been treated in the last few days by CJ has made me wonder...Been doing PPC for about a year on and off...Started seriously pursuing it a few months ago driven by my passion for a roof over my head and food on the table...Went through BI1 and 2...great info Jeremy..Thank you !!!...Put my first campaign together, spent a few hundred on ppc with YSM and made a profit generating leads for a publisher from CJ...When the commission was due to be paid to me ( so I could pay the PPC charges I put on my cc), I received a note from CJ indicating there were problems with the way I was conducting business...I had been redirecting my YSM traffic through tracking202 to track keywords and apparently CJ didnt like it one bit...
They required that I adjust my account so that publishers would see this..and consequently, after making the change, all of my publishers would have to reapprove my changes before I could continue marketing for them...
I didnt overthink it..went ahead and changed my account and wouldnt you know, the publisher who I had been successful with was the only one that immediately (albeit probably an autoresponse) denied my reapplication...and according to the notes I had from CJ, the significant (in my eyes) commission that was due me, could be reversed at the publishers discretion...
I immediately emailed the publisher begging forgiveness...and called CJ but recieved the standard response that all correspondence must be through email since this was a legal matter...Made me feel like I just knocked over a liquor store and the cops were knocking at the door...
Im waiting for a response from the publisher and still wondering what I did that was so wrong...
I realize Im fairly new and mistakes will be made, but it seems theres too many piles of #@!$ to step in that will bring you down even before you really get started...
So why is redirecting traffic through tracking202 so wrong...or was CJ just giving me a hard time because they owe me money ? Im also in the process of reading through Jeremy's Optimize-My-Site so I can turn off tracking202...

Did you ask them why they had the issue with the other redirecting software? Maybe a jump page after your landing page then to the tracking software might help.
Waiting to see what other people think about this.

Thanks for the feedback, Ken... I'll try that...and I did try to ask why they had such a problem with tracking202 when I called them yesterday but the response was to submit all questions in writing since it was a pending "investigation"...

The issue with CJ is they don't like cloaked traffic. If you turn off all cloaking and allow CJ to see all your traffic, keywords, etc... they won't have a problem. If you have cloaking on, CJ will see the referrer as Tracking202 and hence ask you to stop using it. Essentially the problem doesn't lie with Tracking202, but rather CJ's anal policy of being open with all traffic sources.
I'm at CJU right now. Click the contact link on the bottom of this page and send me your info. I'll send your case to someone at CJ that can help you. I can't promise anything, but I can bring more visibility to your problem.
Best,
Jeremy
I just started with CJ and have had some success. Then I get an e-mail from them wanting to know if I was using MediaTraffic or some third party like Vomba. I responded by telling them I hav'nt heard of either company. So they e-mail me back and ask me about related publisher accounts with the same traffic. And I respond with what related publisher accounts, I don't know what you are talking about. So they say that someone in my area is using related traffic. And they ask me if I'm 18 years of age, that really chapped me. So I tell them I use yahoo searchmarketing and show them my landing page and everything is fine. Then yesterday I get an e-mail from telling me they are closing the 3 related accounts. And I can start a new account, but don't make the same mistake I have made before. I don't know why they are coming after me, I don't even know what they are talking about 3 related acoounts. They act like they are God and i feel that I'm being singled out, for something I hav'nt done
I do not have my website. I have taken links from Commission Junction
for some reputed advertisers and started ads on Adwords. With little
hard work I was able to collect good and low priced key words .My
CLICKS have increased drastically . But I was shocked that after
having 700 clicks in 90 days, I had only one sale ( basically i deal
for website and software) . So I decided to test the advertiser's
inregrity, I loged on to my ad in Adwords and made a purchase . I
found threre was no conversion in my account. I wrote to commission
Junction, they washed there hands by saying that the transaction is
between advertiser and publisher , so they can't do any thing. Than I
wrote Advertiser ( Hostgator.Com), in their reply they wrote that commission has gone
to some one else. How this can happened. I my self is from IT
industry and I can not make silly mistake as I spent enough time to
locate my ad and clicked on my ad only as content of ad was konwn to
me only.
CAN SOME ONE ADVISE ME:_
1)THAT WITH THIS KIND OF CHEATINGS, WHO CAN MAKE MONEY.
2) CAN YOU QUIT UR JOB AND SURVIVE ON ONLINE MARKETING.
3) IS ADSENSE IS BETTER WAY TO EARN MONEY BY HAVING YOUR OWN WEB SITE.
( as i do not have my website).
I am looking for advise
